For those of you who are familiar with such classic reference books by Stuart, such as 'The Tactics of Small Boat Racing'. You will be pleased to know the guru is alive and well, though he must be in his late 80's now. Last heard of winning a couple of races in Europe this summer. Had the distinct pleasure of meeting the man and he is great, very calm and easy going. If you have not read his books suggest getting some copies as they are excellent and can be re read over the years.

If your trying to impress that special someone , slip a copy of 'Advanced racing tactics' in with your favourite Jamie Oliver collection.

I guess not having a Jamie Oliver collection could be one of the many reasons why I am single One thing is for sure I still read Stuarts books even though they are more than 20 years old. Mind you that doesn't mean I know anything.

I bought Advanced Racing Tactics with my book shop voucher my wife gave me this year. Therefore she did buy it indirectly for my birthday. Gotta love her for that.
