I note the OK has dropped 1 in the UK Portsmouth number (RYA handicap system) assuming us faster. In the same update the Laser is up 2 and the Laser Radial up 3 (slower). It reflects all the effort in perfecting the rig, hull and foil production has made a difference. Does anyone know if Yachting Australia will be doing the same?

Interesting - I think the Portsmouth number has OK's slower than a radial, but the YA yardstick has us slightly faster. Obviously this reflects the relative quality of Aust and UK OK fleets!

Or the standard of club level Laser sailing is on the decline in the UK.
