Just happened to be snooping around the waterfront at Wangi and found something suspicious hidden under an OK sail. The sail number was AUS 676 (old Horizon). Hidden underneath was a brand new OK building jig. Plastic layed out on the ground underneath it ready to go. Could this be........no it couldn't be.........an amateur built OK??? Who's building a boat at 189 Watkins Rd? Next week: surveilance update on Stumpy's house plus an expose on the double life of Tim Davies. ;D

Good to know new boats are being built, only adds strength to the class. Now I just need to convince a few people to sail them here and save all the travel to gain practice Off to Adelaide with boat to see how they do things in SA.

How'd you get loose Paul. Were you also trawling through our rubbish bins? Well Tim I uncovered your counter espionage tactics today I caught Tanya sneaking around, trying to follow me into day-care. Unfortunately for you I might have unintentionally dialled up her anti-sailing leverage when i confessed that i had sold all my boats now and am condemned to moping around the house with my arms full of babies. Get ready for the fall out on that one!

Seems Col and Co are using a similar approach to Dad with the full scale drafting of the boat mapped out next to the jig.

Can the spy network confirm when all the SOBs from Sydney should turn up for the first race of the season at Wangi? I'm thinking, Saturday, 12th September!
Will any or all of the new boats be ready to sail by then?
Great effort by all concerned to build the new timber OKs. This will give us all something different to talk about over a beer or two at the Wangi after sailing social gatherings.
If anyone needs a boat to sail at either Wangi or Drummoyne this season please let me know? AUS 648 is available to use for anyone wishing to have a sail in the NSW OK fleet.
Bill.

Hey our friends from south of newcastle, Blessing of the Fleet is on this Saturday and Point Score 1 is on next saturday the 12th. Just so you know as I am the starting the races for the first couple of races if you do show I am very bribable. Billy was talking to Stumpy the other day and saw some photos of Col's boat and it looks great looks to only need a coat of paint and fitting out and it should be right to go
