The weather did not play fair and we ended up with a truncated event. 10 boats came out to play. Saturday was light and puffy, but as always, the best sailors still feature at the front. Tim Davies and Mark Skelton shared the 2 heats completed on day 1. Day 2 was rubbed out at 12.30 due to lack of breeze. As always happens, some breeze filled in at 13.30 and the OK boys went out to play - much better than going home to do chores. 6 unofficial short races were held in a 5-10 kt breeze. Again, close racing, but Mark Skelton again sailed especially well in the conditions to dominate the racing. Stay tuned for a fuller(!) report from Stumpy about the racing on Day 2. Many thanks to Sandra O'Donnell and Pete Robinson for coming out in the Committee boat to run this session for us.
