Hi Tim, It's taken a while to track this down but I think that the OK in the video is KA 75. If so, it would probably be the first Pamcraft fibreglass boat built by Phil Maloney. Phil sailed KA 75 "Bluebottle" in the 1966/67 Nationals at the Holdfast Bay YC, West Beach, SA (now the site of the Adelaide SC), finishing 11th overall in the fleet of 42 starters. The Championship was won by Noel Beale from QLD with Ray Stone SA second and John Hardie NSW third. In the July 1967 NSW Association Newsletter, Phil advertised KA 75 for sale (stating it was a fibreglass boat) and it was subsequently registered to P. Voord from Freemans Reach, NSW. Knowing the guys involved with the promotion of the OKs in Sydney at that time it could well be that the appearance of the OK at the beginning of this video was not just a coincidence! I'll see if I can catch up with Phil to learn if he can tell us more about this. Cheers, Bill.
