Hi All, BRYC are running go fo gold again this year. The Victorian OK association has put together a great coaching programme for the weekend (see the attached flier or on the OK website). We are pulling out all the stops on this one, we all want to go faster and this will be our chance to learn how to achieve it. Out of state compeditors are more than welcome, we can even supply good qaulity boats for those who wished to fly down or up for the weekend. We are hoping for 10 to15 boats. We might even have the opportunity to drink a few beers with our mates and spin a few yarns.
Hi Guys, We have 22 OK's for the Go for Gold regatta, almost a nationals. Check the website post event to watch the races via Tack Tracker, all boats will be tracked. They cannot hide from big brother all gains and loses will be there to see. See how the winners win and how the rest off us try.
Hi All Race one and the second abandoned race are now avaliable to watch on www.tacktracker.com The day was very challenging as the predicted 25-30 did not appear and in its place was 3-10 and a strong current flow, great practice for hobart. The first race was started under black flag. The second race was off on the first attempt. The rest of the races will follow after today. Enjoy
Second day up as well, no real racing but a lot of fun was had in 25-30 knots, with the biggest waves I've seen off BRYC. A course was laid by our coach Ricky Ironmonger There was a current of a few knots running against the wind, making the waves even steeper than normal, plus the course was laid over the shallow area off the Bluff. Hope to have some video uploaded this week.
