Congratulations to all concerned for such a great contest at Black Rock for the 2011 Interdominions. Thanks to the members of the club and the Victorian OK Association for all of the organisation for the Championship. A very enjoyable event both on and off the water!
Special thanks to the Kiwis for such a magnificent effort to have a full container of 12 boats entered for the event. Well done for another clear victory in the Interdominions teams event. Good to see a new name added to the Interdominion trophy too! Brad's Dad John went close back in 1972 when he was runner-up to Clive Roberts at New Plymouth. It was good to see John back on the water at this event.
Congratulations Brad on a very consistent series in such variable conditions. I'm sure that we will see your name at the top end of our OKDIA leader boards for many years to come.
Thanks also to Simon for coming to join us from England and all of the Australian competitors who supported the event. To have 47 boats entered for an Easter Interdominions again shows that we can look forward to a successful continuation of the wonderful history of this event.
