Looks like we are going to have a very good regatta judging by the quality of the entrants. Hope a few more make up their minds to join in with the fun and start putting their entries in. Good on the Kiwi's for their top sailors to make the effort, very much appreciated. Should be a lot of fun
There are 21 entries as of this morning, which only includes 6 from NZ (although we know 12 will be attending so that make a minimum of 27). If team O'Donnell attends plus some more of the usual suspects from Australia, we should crack 40 pretty easily. Of course, quality is more important than quantity - we have 6 of the top 11 from the last worlds.
This will be a great regatta for all, the weather will be whatever it is, who knows. Easter is a very variable time of year on Port Phillip, we previously have had no wind, strong shifty northerlies, and westerlies. We have 12 Entries for New Zealand and one from the UK. I hope all who are available can make the time to come. We have organised billets for all the Kiwi's, so if you need somewhere to stay I'm sure we can sort something out.
