I'm going and will be bringing the kids for a fun weekend of camping, sailing and socialising.
As the two Single Hander regattas are on consecutive weekends, and both north of Sydney I figured I may as well make a whole week of it, so I've planned to camp at Maclean, hop back down the highway and make camp again the following weekend at Sunshine.
I look forward to seeing you all there... Pete

Looks like it will be great weather, a bit wet today but forecasted to be sunny over the weekend. Club will ensure there is food for people Saturday morning if they roll up Friday and we have two club members that will be there Friday afternoon to welcome people. I have talked to the commodore and she is very happy with the expected turnout and we wil have our own start. Get ready for lots of mark roundings, strong currents and a hell of a lot of fun. If any one needs assistance of any kind give me a call on 0427 161 958.

For those who could not make this event - UNLUCKY. The venue and hosts were excellent and there was an excellent lesson in the art of tidal sailing, which must be said, some learnt more quickly and effectively than others. I am still trying to unwind after the no. of circles created by drifting onto bouys. Definitely worth the drive and a must for the 2011 calendar.

An open thanks to all those who made the regatta, the club loved the event and would very much hope the Ok's will return regularly. It was nice to sail in home waters with company and tough to see home town advantage was quickly negated by some very good sailors, well done.
